Davidson Trolley

Trolley optimized

The Town of Davidson ran trolley service for a 10-week period from April 1 to June 10 to get people to downtown Davidson from the east and west sides of town. We are in the process of reviewing ridership data and will further analyze this service as part of the Davidson Mobility Study this fall. Check back for details on whether or not we'll be able to continue this program in the future.

Citizens have voiced the need for a local transportation shuttle or trolley service as a way of mitigating traffic congestion and downtown parking concerns. This trolley service is an expanded trial of the Saturday Shuttle program that started this past fall. We will evaluate the ridership and routes and use this information to help inform the Town’s upcoming Mobility Plan.

There is no charge for this service. Unfortunately, pets and children requiring some type of car seat cannot be accommodated.

We are interested in feedback on the service, including stop locations and hours of operation. Please direct all inquiries to Kim Fleming at kfleming@townofdavidson.org.
